Cats and dogs can be spayed and neutered free or at low cost at the Spay-Neuter Assistance Program’s mobile clinics.

Animals must be at least 4 months old. Pets should not be given food or water after 10 the night before surgery.

A random lottery at 7:30 a.m. each clinic day will determine which animals will be seen that day and in what order. Lottery tickets will be distributed at 7 a.m. One animal per household will be accepted each day.

Pets belonging to individuals on government assistance will receive the service free. To learn the price schedule for others or find out more about the service, call 210-673-7722.
